Join us as Special Tools & Bench Test Equipment Engineer, and you'll be looking at a career-defining role based in St-Bruno (QC), CA.
From general instructions, you will be responsible for the follow-up of all Customer deliverables related to special maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment of a project, from design to delivery. You must make sure that all deliverables are submitted on time and meet the Customer requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze the Customer technical specification to extract the specific special tools and diagnostic equipment requirements;
- Evaluate the Suppliers technical proposals;
- Analyze technical packages submitted from the Suppliers and approves technical documents such as drawings et technical descriptions;
- Participate to the design reviews with the Suppliers and Customer;
- Follow up on the delivery of the equipment;
- Attend the equipment installation and commissioning at the Customer Plans and follows up technical activities;
- Approve the test procedures to validate the design of the equipment under your responsibility;
- Attend the qualification tests of this equipment at Suppliers;
- Design of Maintenance Diagnostic Equipment
- Undertake any other relevant duties related to its functions
As our ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical Engineering
- Any completion of a mechanical technique at college would be an asset;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Be able to design and create drawing of maintenance tools using Catia V5
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
- If you have knowledge in the railway field would be an asset;
- You will have knowledge in testing electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment;
- Be autonomous and demonstrate leadership skills
BilingualismProficiency in French and English is required. Knowledge of a third language is considered an asset when working with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language of our company.
