Full Job Description
Drive high-priority work forward. Build structure. Help ideas become execution.

We're hiring a high-capacity operator into the Innovation & Delivery team to help drive Clover's most important cross-functional initiatives from strategy into execution. You'll join a small, high-leverage team that works on the systems, programs, and strategic efforts shaping Clover's next chapter.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and likes turning ambiguity into momentum. You'll work closely with others in the Innovation & Delivery team on high-priority initiatives, helping translate direction into structured action, drive workstreams forward, and build the operating cadence that keeps complex work on track.

This is an ideal role for someone who is highly organized, analytically sharp, and excited to grow as an operator. You should be energized by hard problems, comfortable working across functions, and motivated by helping important work move faster and better.

As a Special Projects Manager, you will:
  • Drive Day-to-Day Execution: Support high-priority initiatives by turning strategic direction into clear workplans, timelines, decisions, and follow-through.
  • Run Critical Workstreams: Own discrete parts of major cross-functional efforts, ensuring milestones are met, dependencies are managed, and progress stays visible.
  • Create Operational Clarity: Build the trackers, meeting cadences, project documents, and communication rhythms that help teams execute effectively.
  • Support Structured Problem Solving: Break down complex problems, synthesize inputs, and help translate high-level goals into executable next steps.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Work across functions and stakeholders to surface risks early, resolve blockers, and keep projects aligned.
  • Use AI & Emerging Technology: Apply AI-powered tools and other technologies to improve execution speed, quality, and leverage across your work.

Success in this role looks like:
  • First 90 days: Learn Clover's business model and operating rhythms, build strong working relationships, and become a reliable execution partner on one or more high-priority initiatives.
  • First 6 months: Independently run key workstreams, improve project visibility and coordination, and increase execution speed and rigor on major priorities.
  • First year: Become a trusted operator on high-impact initiatives by consistently driving follow-through, improving how teams work together, and helping deliver measurable business results.

You should get in touch if:
  • You've had 2-6 years of experience in management consulting, finance, or startup operations: high-performance, analytically rigorous environment.
  • You are highly structured, detail-oriented, and able to keep multiple threads moving without losing the big picture.
  • You know how to turn direction into action and are comfortable driving execution in ambiguous, cross-functional environments.
  • You are a strong written and verbal communicator who can synthesize information clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • You are energized by solving hard problems and helping teams make progress, even when the path is not perfectly defined.
  • You have good judgment about when to push independently and when to escalate.
  • You want to build as an operator by working closely with leaders on consequential company priorities.

Benefits Overview:
  • Financial Well-Being: Our commitment to attracting and retaining top talent begins with a competitive base salary and equity opportunities. Additionally, we offer a performance-based bonus program, 401k matching, and regular compensation reviews to recognize and reward exceptional contributions.
  • Physical Well-Being: We prioritize the health and well-being of our employees and their families by providing comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. Your health matters to us, and we invest in ensuring you have access to quality healthcare.
  • Mental Well-Being: We understand the importance of mental health in fostering productivity and maintaining work-life balance. To support this, we offer initiatives such as No-Meeting Fridays, monthly company holidays, access to mental health resources, and a generous flexible time-off policy. Additionally, we embrace a remote-first culture that supports collaboration and flexibility, allowing our team members to thrive from any location.
  • Professional Development: Developing internal talent is a priority for Clover. We offer learning programs, mentorship, professional development funding, and regular performance feedback and reviews.

Additional Perks:
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) offering discounted equity opportunities
  • Reimbursement for office setup expenses
  • Monthly cell phone & internet stipend
  • Remote-first culture, enabling collaboration with global teams
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents
