Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on clean-agent and suppression systems

  • Document time worked and paperwork related to assigned tasks promptly
  • Assist in scheduling and completing assigned duties
  • Work independently while using personal protective equipment

Full Job Description
Special Hazards/Suppression Technician

The Special Hazard/Suppression Technician is responsible for performing scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and installations of clean-agent, special hazard, and/or non-water-based fire suppression systems.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-$110,000 per year depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Performance of daily, weekly, monthly and/or annual inspections and preventative maintenance services on various clean-agent and suppression systems
  • Complete installation and repairs on clean-agent/suppression systems.
  • Service and test
  • Complete electronic and/or hand written inspection reports
  • Document time worked as well as all paperwork relating to assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Assist the scheduling and completion of assigned duties
  • Ability to work independently and use provided personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications
