Responsibilities

  • Provide direct, small-group instruction based on IEP goals.

  • Collect ongoing progress data and prepare quarterly reports.
  • Maintain accurate session notes and submit documentation on time.
  • Communicate regularly with general education teachers on student needs and strategies.

  • Maintain professional communication with families and related service providers.
  • Create a structured and supportive learning environment.

Special Educator Resource Room

Details about this opportunity:
  • Location: Various cases around South Shore, Nassau County, NY
  • Status: Part-Time, Fee for Service or Full time Potential
  • Hours: Availability during school hours typically Mon-Fri.
    • Follows school calendar
    • Specific session lengths depend on IEP mandates (e.g., 1x30 min, 5x45 min, etc.)
  • Compensation: $60/hour


**Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.**
