Responsibilities:- Provide direct, small-group instruction aligned with students' IEP goals.
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to student needs.
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to support diverse learners
- Review, understand, and implement each student's IEP mandates.
- Collect ongoing progress data and prepare quarterly progress reports.
- Maintain accurate session notes and submit documentation within required timelines.
- Communicate regularly with general education teachers regarding student needs, accommodations, and classroom strategies.
- Participate in CSE/IEP meetings as needed.
- Maintain professional communication with families, school administrators, and related service providers.
- Create a structured, supportive learning environment.
- Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom routines.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.

And this background:- NYS Students with Disabilities Certification K-6, 7-12 ( NYS SWD All Grades or Permanent Preferred)
- Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families preferred
- Bilingual is a plus
