About the RoleHello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for a school setting in Anniston, AL. In this role, you'll play a critical part in student success by providing specialized instruction and support to Pre-K and Kindergarten students, collaborating with general education teachers and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with IEP goals and student progress. What You'll Do- Provide specialized, IEP-driven instruction and support for Pre-K and Kindergarten students
- Collaborate with general education teachers to support students in inclusive classroom settings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, accommodations, and modifications
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate data, reports, and compliance documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Differentiate instruction based on individual developmental and educational needs
- Support positive behavior, functional skills, and student engagement
- Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for IEP development, timelines, and implementation
What We're Looking For- Hold or be eligible for Alabama Early Childhood Special Education P-3 certification
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Experience or knowledge supporting young children with disabilities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based or early childhood special education experience preferred, not required
