Special Education Teacher - School-Based Services
Location: Leavenworth, KS
Grade Level: PreK-K. MUST BE FULLY LICENSED
Schedule: School-Based | Daytime Hours
Pay: 39$-44$ per hour
In this position, you'll adapt general education curriculum for students with mild to moderate disabilities while also delivering core academic and foundational instruction to students with more intensive needs. You'll collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized strategies that empower every student to succeed.

Requirements
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Degree in Exceptional Student Education / Special Education preferred
- Active General Teaching License with Special Education Endorsement in the state of Kansas
- Strong organizational and instructional planning skills
- Ability to adapt curriculum for diverse learning needs
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance
