Compensation- Salary: $88,000 - $115,000/yr
Position SummaryProvide mission-critical linguistic support to intelligence operations through advanced Spanish interpretation, translation, transcription, and analysis services that enable informed operational decision-making. Support CI/HUMINT, SIGINT, and OSINT missions through the translation, interpretation, and exploitation of foreign-language materials.
Primary Functions- Deliver accurate and reliable translation, transcription, and interpretation of intelligence-related materials.
- Translate and interpret a wide range of content, including legal, technical, military, political, scientific, and official government documents.
- Provide simultaneous interpretation during real-time operational engagements, meetings, conferences, and briefings.
- Provide consecutive interpretation during interviews, debriefings, meetings, and operational discussions.
- Summarize documents, review translations, conduct bilingual text comparisons, and support meetings and conferences.
- Extract actionable intelligence from foreign-language source materials and support intelligence reporting requirements.
- Maintain high standards of linguistic accuracy while supporting mission objectives in classified environments.
Must-Haves- Active Secret security clearance.
- Experience supporting CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or related intelligence operations.
- Experience with MEDEX, CELLEX, DOMEX, or similar intelligence exploitation activities.
- Spanish language proficiency of 4+/4+ or higher on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) scale.
- English language proficiency of 3+/3+ or higher on the ILR scale.
- Demonstrated ability to provide accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation services in operational environments.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify and communicate relevant intelligence information.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or federal law enforcement missions.
- Operational or deployed intelligence experience.
- Familiarity with intelligence reporting methodologies and exploitation workflows.
- Experience supporting real-world intelligence operations in high-tempo environments.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
