The mission of Anduril's Air Dominance and Strike Division is to fundamentally reshape the way future peer to peer conflicts are fought by developing next generation collaborative combat aircraft, advanced effects, and the software that powers these autonomous weapons. As AD&S grows across a nationwide footprint of offices, labs, and production sites, how our space is used matters: teams need to be adjacent to the hardware they're building, classified work has to happen in classified space, program ramps change what each team needs quarter over quarter, and new hires need a desk on day one. As Space Planning Operations lead for AD&S, you will own the day-to-day picture of how space is occupied across the division, keep that picture accurate as we grow and reshuffle, and run the moves and reconfigurations that keep our footprint aligned with how our programs actually work.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain Space Truth. Keep headcount, seating assignments, and allocations accurate in real time across every AD&S site in our space management software, so the data that leadership and corporate use to plan is actually right
- Plan and Sequence Moves. Partner with HR, program leads, and corporate Workplace/Facilities to execute moves, reorgs, and new-hire seating without disrupting program work. Sequence changes so teams land next to the people, labs, and hardware they need
- Forecast Occupancy Demand. Translate headcount plans into stack plans, occupancy forecasts, and seating scenarios by site. Flag where space pressure is building before it becomes a problem
- Report on Utilization. Track and report space utilization, occupancy, and seated-density trends for AD&S leadership and corporate Real Estate. Make the case to consolidate, densify, or expand when the data supports it, and feed that case into the division's multi-year plan
- Partner Across the Function. Work with the AD&S Industrial Space Planner on decisions that cross into production floor space, with AD&S Strategic Real Estate on how occupancy demand feeds the multi-year plan, and with corporate Space Planning on execution and tooling. Flex in to support industrial space planning when the industrial seat is stretched
- Floor Plans. Maintain occupancy-related layers in AutoCAD files, OfficeSpace, and/or Archibus for AD&S sites and keep them aligned with corporate floor plan standards
Qualifications and Requirements- 4+ years in occupancy planning, corporate real estate, space planning, or workplace strategy, including accountability for a multi-site portfolio
- Fluent in space management tooling (OfficeSpace, Serraview, Archibus, or similar) and comfortable interpreting CAD drawings
- Highly proficient in Excel; comfortable working with large, messy datasets and keeping them clean
- Strong stakeholder management: you can push back on a request without burning the relationship, and you make the right call under time pressure
- Low ego, high accuracy. You care about the data being right, not about who gets credit for the fix
- Ability to travel up to 10% for site visits
- Must be eligible to hold a US Top Secret clearance
Preferred Skills- Experience planning space through a rapid hardware, aerospace, or manufacturing ramp, not only office-only portfolios
- Exposure to industrial or production space planning in addition to office and seated environments
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience supporting hybrid or flexible seating models
- Background in defense, aerospace, or another high-growth hardware company
