Collins Aerospace est à la recherche d'un spécialiste en amélioration continue pour son site d'intégration de nacelles Airbus A220 à Mirabel, Québec.

  • Participe à l'exécution des plans opérationnels, à l'appui des objectifs et aux initiatives de déploiement des politiques pour l'organisation.
  • Mène l'amélioration des processus et s'assure que les objectifs sont atteints, y compris ceux déterminés lors des événements/projets d'amélioration continue.
  • Mène et participe à des projets de transformation affectant plusieurs fonctions, départements et/ou sites.
  • Participe activement/dirige la résolution de problèmes difficiles ou complexes.
  • Améliore activement et met en œuvre les processus et normes actuels et nouveaux qui auront un impact sur l'atteinte des résultats fonctionnels.
  • Coaching et formation des individus et des équipes au sein de l'entreprise dans leur parcours d'amélioration continue.
  • Identifie et partage des meilleures pratiques dans l'ensemble de l'organisation.
  • Surveille et dirige la progression de l'amélioration continue au sein de l'équipe.
  • Dirige les événements CORE/amélioration continue, y compris les semaines de leadership.
  • Établie des relations de réseautage dans l'ensemble de l'organisation.

Qualifications Requises

  • Nécessite généralement: Baccalauréat et minimum de 5 ans d'expérience pertinente antérieure ou Diplôme supérieur et un minimum de 3 années d'expérience pertinente antérieure.
  • Bilinguisme en anglais et en français.
  • Expérience dans l'utilisation des principes Lean, par exemple : 5S, travail standard, contrôles visuels, événements Kaizen.
  • Expérience en analyse de données et en analyse statistique, ainsi qu'en méthodologie des 8D.

Ce poste nécessite de communiquer oralement et par écrit avec les équipes de travail et le client situés aux États-Unis. À la suite d'une analyse, nous avons déterminé que les tâches liées au poste de spécialiste en amélioration continue nécessitent la connaissance de l'anglais (verbale et écrite). Nous avons également déterminé que la connaissance de l'anglais déjà exigée des autres employés ne permet pas l'exécution des tâches en raison de sa nature hautement technique. Cependant, Collins Aerospace restreint le plus possible le nombre de postes pour lesquels elle exige la connaissance d'une autre langue que le français. Collins Aerospace n'exige la maîtrise de l'anglais que lorsque cela est nécessaire à l'exécution des tâches d'un employé.

What You Will Do
  • Participates in execution of operational plans in support of Goal Alignment goals and initiatives for the organization.
  • Drives improvement of metrics and ensuring targets are met including event/project closure results achieved.
  • Supports and leads projects/transformations that cut across organizational, functional and internal boundaries.
  • Actively participates/leads in resolution of difficult or complex problems.
  • Actively improves and implements current and new processes and standards that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
  • Coaching and training individuals and teams within the business on their Continuous Improvement journey.
  • Leads the identification and sharing best practices across the organization.
  • Measures and drives CORE/Continuous Improvement progression within direct team.
  • Leads kaizen/ Continuous Improvement events including leadership weeks.
  • Builds networks across the organization and discipline.
  • Identifies knowledge gaps within direct team and supports closure plan.
  • Champions the use of lean tools to drive cultural transformation.


Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience or Advanced degree and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Bilingual English and French
  • Experience implementing Lean principles for example: 5S, Standard Work, Visual Controls, RTPR / QCPC, Kaizen events.
  • Experience in Data and Statistical Analysis and 8 Ds.

This position requires communicating orally and in writing with working teams and customer located in the United States. Following an analysis, we have determined that the tasks related to the position of production continuous improvement analyst require knowledge of English (verbal and written). We have also determined that the knowledge of English already required of other employees does not allow the performance of the tasks due to its highly technical nature. However, Collins Aerospace restricts as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires knowledge of a language other than French. Collins Aerospace only requires proficiency in English when necessary to perform an employee's job duties.
