Sommaire des responsabilités

À titre de membre de l'équipe d'ingénierie pour la modernisation des apparailes militaires du Griffon, le gestionnaire de projet est responsable des projets techniques, de la conception à la réalisation, ainsi que de l'atteinte des objectifs fixés par le client.

  • Planifier, organiser et gérer la cédule de l'équipe d'ingénierie des systèmes, afin de contribuer à l'atteinte des objectifs du programme PLVG
  • Coordonner les efforts de développement afin de supporter la cédule de certification.
  • Coordonner les revues de plans de test avec les différents intervenants.
  • Collaborer avec plusieurs services (Ingénierie - toutes les disciplines, expérimental, ingénierie, fabrication, approvisionnement, finances, TI, publications techniques, soutien à la clientèle, opérations intégrées, assurance de la qualité
  • Coordonner avec les différents fournisseurs et avec le client MDN.
  • Créer et mettre à jour les plans de projet (en utilisant les outils de planification et une méthode par phases ou par jalons), déterminer les livrables requis, affecter les ressources et estimer les tâches.
  • Surveiller l'évolution du projet et rendre compte des résultats du projet au Gestionnaire de l'équipe.


Exigences du poste / Qualifications

  • Baccalauréat en génie ou diplôme technique.
  • Minimum de trois (3) ans d'expérience dans le domaine aérospatial et de la gestion de projets, de préférence d'un système d'armes aéroporté militaire.
  • Une expérience préalable de la gestion de la flotte de l'Aviation royale canadienne (ARC) est un atout.
  • Posséder des habiletés interpersonnels, leadership, habileté de communication et sens de l'organisation.
  • Connaissance de la certification des aéronefs et de la réglementation, en particulier en ce qui concerne les règles de certification du Ministère de la défense nationale (MDN) est souhaitable
  • Une certification en gestion de projet est souhaitable.
  • Une connaissance du processus d'introduction de nouveaux produits et des services de Bell Textron est souhaitable.
  • Excellente habileté à communiquer (à l'oral et à l'écrit) en français.
  • Excellente habileté à communiquer en anglais, car ce poste nécessite des communications en anglais avec les équipes de Bell hors Québec et/ou ses fournisseurs, partenaires et clients hors Québec
  • Une connaissance fonctionnelle de la gamme d'outils Windows Office.
  • Une connaissance fonctionnelle de Primavera P6, Enovia, SAP et MS Project est souhaitable

Summary of job description

As part of the Military Aircraft Upgrades Engineering team for the CH146 Griffon, the project specialist is responsible for technical projects from conception to completion and is accountable to meet the objectives set by the customer.

  • Plan, organize, and manage the system engineering schedule to support the GLLE program goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate engineering development efforts to meet the certification schedule.
  • Coordinate test plans review with all the stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (engineering - all disciplines, experimental, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, IT, technical publications, customer support, integrated operations, quality)
  • Coordinate with the different suppliers and with the customer DND.
  • Create and update project plan (using planning tools, phased/gated approach), determine required deliverables, assign resources and estimate tasks.
  • Monitor project progress and report project performance status to the system engineering Manager.


Minimum required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent related field.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in relevant aerospace and Project management field, preferably for a military airborne weapon system.
  • Prior experience with Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) fleet management is an asset.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, communication skills (verbal and in writing) and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of aircraft certification and regulations especially in Department of National Defense (DND) TAA certification rules is an asset.
  • Project management certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Bell NP&SI process is desirable.
  • Functional knowledge of the Windows Office.
  • Functional knowledge Primavera P6, Enovia, SAP et MS Project is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in French.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, as this position requires communication in English with Bell teams outside Quebec and/or its suppliers, partners, and clients outside Quebec.
