Solution Architect - Technology Integration and Distribution Center(TIDC)

Working under minimal supervision, the ATC Solutions Architect serves as the primary technical resource responsible for translating customer business and technical requirements into scalable, repeatable, and operationally executable Advanced Technology Configurations (ATC) solutions at the TIDC.

 

The ATC Solutions Architect partners with customers, account teams, solution engineers, vendors, and ATC operational teams to conduct technical discovery, assess solution feasibility, define implementation methodologies, and develop deployment strategies for complex technology solutions.

 

This position acts as a cross-functional technical leader with expertise spanning enterprise networking, wireless, security, cloud-managed infrastructure, data center technologies, compute, virtualization, automation, and emerging technology platforms. The ATC Solutions Architect develops repeatable service delivery models, establishes technical standards, and contributes to the development of new ATC service offerings and capabilities.

 

The ATC Solutions Architect serves as the primary liaison between customer requirements and ATC execution teams, ensuring solutions are technically sound, operationally executable, and aligned with customer objectives.

Responsibilities

• Conduct customer discovery sessions to identify business objectives, technical requirements, deployment constraints, and operational considerations.
• Translate customer requirements into ATC-deliverable solutions and service offerings.
• Develop implementation methodologies, deployment standards, and operational workflows for ATC execution teams.
• Evaluate solution feasibility across networking, security, cloud, compute, virtualization, and data center technologies.
• Collaborate with Solution Engineering Group (SEG), account teams, vendors, and ATC operational teams to develop scalable customer solutions.
• Develop technical statements of work (SOW), deployment approaches, solution documentation, and implementation guidance.
• Establish repeatable deployments models that improve consistency, scalability, and quality across ATC services.
• Serve as a technical advisor during customer engagements, workshops, solution reviews, and design discussions.
• Assist with RFP, RFI, technical validation, and solution qualification activities.
• Identify opportunities for automation, orchestration, and process improvement within ATC service delivery models.
• Create and maintain reference architectures, best practices, deployment standards, and technical documentation.
• Maintain technical expertise across enterprise infrastructure technologies and relevant industry certifications.
• Partner with ATC leadership to support strategic initiatives and long-term service development efforts.
• Assists with the collection of data on Sales discovery calls to properly create a service solution.

• Degree requirements:  Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Major if applicable:  Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Preferred Certifications: One or more of the following: SCCM, Azure, Microsoft 365, MCSE, Security +, CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE,Fortinet NSE, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, JNCIS, JNCIP

·        Experience serving as a Technical Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Enterprise Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical advisory role.

·        Expert-level ability to conduct technical discovery sessions, gather customer requirements, identify dependencies and constraints, and translate customer intent into executable solution methodologies.

·        Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while servicing as a trusted technical advisor throughout the solution development process.

·        Advanced knowledge of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, wireless, SDN, SD-WAN, SASE, NAC, and network security frameworks

·        Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise security solutions including firewall, segmentation, identity services, secure access technologies, and Zero Trust architectures

·        Experience with enterprise technology platforms including Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, HPE Aruba, HPE Juniper (Mist), Ubiquiti, Mako Networks, VMware, Microsoft, RedHat, Nautobot, Netbox, F5, and similar enterprise infrastructure solutions.

·        Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including cloud networking, virtualization, Compute, storage, operating systems, load balancing, application delivery, and data center infrastructure
