JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Solutions Analyst III at JPMorganChase within Infrastructure Platforms Workflow product line, you bridge product owners, business, operations, and software developers by translating business needs and data flows into clear, technically feasible solutions. You elicit and document requirements, partner on solution design, manage dependencies, and use data-driven insights to guide decisions—while operating with strong controls, clear communication, and responsible use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Elicit and document comprehensive business, functional, and data-flow requirements by engaging product owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Translate complex business requirements into well-structured solution options (process, data, and technical approaches) that are feasible and scalable.
  • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate requirements synthesis, solution optioning, and architecture documentation, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
  • Produce clear artifacts (user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, data lineage/flows) to enable accurate build and test execution.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to align requirements to platform standards, reusable patterns, and target-state designs.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities; provide actionable insights that support key initiatives.
  • Support delivery execution by managing dependencies, clarifying scope, and proactively resolving requirement ambiguities and changes.
  • Collaborate across teams to define and maintain standards, governance processes, and documentation that align technology to business strategy.
  • Coordinate and support UAT planning and execution, including test scenario definition, defect triage, and closure validation.
  • Manage and refine a prioritized backlog; balance customer demand against team capacity and delivery constraints.
  • Continuously enhance technical and domain knowledge, staying current on platform capabilities and best practices to propose improvements.

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • 3+ years of experience (or equivalent expertise) in solutions analysis, technical program delivery, product analysis, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including data extraction, modeling, and interpretation to support decision-making.
  • Advanced data visualization capability with hands-on experience implementing and managing BI dashboards.
  • Strong technical writing skills with a track record of translating complex information into clear documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Advanced data fluency: ability to work with large, diverse datasets and generate insights tied to business objectives.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira, including building dashboards to track and report progress.
  • Experience producing high-quality requirements artifacts (user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data flows) that enable engineering delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage scope, dependencies, and ambiguity; lead through change with strong stakeholder partnership.
  • Experience balancing customer demands against team capacity to produce and manage a prioritized backlog of requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support solutions analysis workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. (mandatory)
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted analyses and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Experience working with the ServiceNow platform (requirements, workflows, or reporting).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • Experience working with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and iterative refinement of requirements.
  • Working knowledge of APIs/integrations and how requirements translate into interface contracts and error handling.
  • Familiarity with operational readiness concepts (runbooks, controls, change/release considerations).
  • Experience with process modeling techniques/tools (e.g., BPMN-style mapping) and data-flow documentation.
  • Exposure to governance/standards documentation (e.g., definitions of done, templates, policy/controls alignment).
