POSITION SUMMARY
Software Project Manager responsibilities include working with Product management team to determine and define project scope and objectives, providing project status updates, and ensuring project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Core responsibilities of the software project manager include but are not limited to:
Work with Product management team to determine and define project scope and objectives.
Act as scrum master for daily standup meetings. Lead other meetings as needed.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Ensure project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
Follow Sunbird's software development process to participate in full software development life cycle.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
