10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 15 years of experience with IAT II certification
Proficient in Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu)
Experience with Python, C, and BASH scripting
Knowledge of Thruk dashboards and Nagios plugins
Familiarity with Salt and Ansible for automation
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for metrics visualization
Responsibilities
Perform system administration tasks to learn and manage systems effectively
Develop and maintain Thruk dashboards and manage Nagios plugin feeds
Automate processes using Salt and Ansible
Monitor system metrics using Prometheus and customize Grafana dashboards
Utilize Gitbucket for version control and collaboration
Collaborate using Jira and Confluence for project management
Support and optimize Slurm for workload management

Required Experience:
10 YOE & B.S OR 15 YOE - IAT II
Required Skills: • Strictly Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, SLES, Ubuntu [new]) • Expect potential for up to 50% of the day feeling system administration task focused out of the gate to learn the systems • Python, C, BASH • Thruk dashboards fed by Nagios plugins. Also manage feeds to corporate Splunk dashboards • Salt and Ansible for automation • Prometheus for metrics - moving toward additional customized Grafana dashboards • Gitbucket • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Slurm
