Job Summary
The Software Engineering Team Lead will drive the development and operations of an enterprise-scale identity and access management (IAM) platform. The role combines hands-on full-stack engineering, technical architecture, team leadership, planning, and stakeholder engagement. The position requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS-native technologies, workflow automation, Angular, and micro-frontend architecture. The role is expected to involve approximately 50-60% hands-on coding and architecture and 40-50% technical leadership, planning, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, enhancement, and operation of an enterprise-scale identity and access management platform.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS technologies and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain workflow and business process automation solutions using Camunda or similar platforms.
• Build and enhance front-end applications using Angular and micro-frontend architecture.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across application architecture, development, integration, and deployment.
• Establish and maintain strong testing practices to support application quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Support reporting capabilities and enterprise application development requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, address technical challenges, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Lead technical planning and coordinate team activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Guide engineering team members through technical reviews, problem-solving, and development best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience with AWS-native cloud technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience with workflow and business process management automation using Camunda or similar platforms.
• Experience with Angular and micro-frontend architecture.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) platforms.
• Strong testing, reporting, and enterprise application development experience.
• Experience working in regulated environments, preferably financial services or healthcare.
• Ability to balance hands-on coding and architecture responsibilities with technical leadership, planning, and team management.
