In this role, you will take ownership of enterprise monitoring, performance tracking, and system observability tools deployed across complex, high-demand Linux environments.

You will leverage strong development skills in Python and Java, script solutions for system automation, and integrate monitoring frameworks like Zabbix with Custom Software Components (CSC). The annual base salary range for this role is $201,000-$238,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.Required SkillsZabbix Development & Administration: Hands-on experience developing, configuring, templates, and scaling Zabbix enterprise monitoring platforms.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and Java for developing custom plugins, API integrations, and monitoring tools.
Scripting Mastery: Strong practical experience writing scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate tasks and extend system capabilities.
Linux Environment Expertise: Proven depth in Linux system administration, service management, log analysis, and performance troubleshooting.
Software Integration (CSC): Demonstrated capability to integrate monitoring solutions with Custom Software Components (CSC) and complex multi-tier applications.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS
14+ years of professional software development experience OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
18+ years of hands-on technical software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills- Knowledge of additional observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/ELK stack).
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud environments (AWS).
