  • Problem Solving & Testing: Hands-on experience reviewing code, resolving software problem reports (SPRs), and testing software components against documented design requirements.
  • System Trade-off & Synthesis Analysis: Track record of analyzing system-level requirements and breaking them down into modular software components, including evaluating hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
  • COTS/GOTS Integration: Ability to evaluate and integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) solutions in place of custom development where optimal.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 14+ years of professional software engineering experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 18+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.
