ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We have an immediate need for a Data Engineering-focused Software Engineer to join our Data Management practice within an active Scrum environment. In this role, you will help shift legacy security processes into an automated, continuous monitoring framework by engineering distributed analytics, validating data ingestion pipelines, and ensuring national security end-users receive accurate, timely cyber telemetry.
The annual base salary range for this role is $159,000-$188,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Big Data Analytics: Direct, hands-on experience writing and optimizing distributed data analytics using PySpark or Apache Pig.
Data Pipeline & Ingestion Validation: Proven ability to investigate data flow issues, validate ingestion pipelines, and evaluate software merge requests for data integrity.
Software Development & Scripting: Strong programming background using Python in Linux environments for data processing and backend automation.
Database Querying & Modeling: Demonstrated ability to construct complex database queries, schema interfaces, and dataretrieval scripts.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience deriving software requirements, writing unit/integration test procedures, and debugging complex software defects.
Version Control: Experience using Git for code reviews, branch management, and collaborative software delivery.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, PLUS 7+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Agile / Scrum Methodologies: Direct experience working within an Agile Scrum framework delivering iterative software capabilities.
Cybersecurity Tooling: Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity tools, threat intelligence telemetry, or continuous security monitoring platforms.
Agile Tooling: Practical experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence) for task management and documentation.
