ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We have an immediate need for a DevOps Engineer to serve as the automation engine for our software and data engineering practices. In this high-visibility role, you will help shift legacy, manual system security evaluation processes to an automated model emphasizing continuous integration, real-time assessment, and network data gathering across the entire project lifecycle. You will facilitate infrastructure management, streamline build/deployment pipelines, optimize environment configurations, and uphold a robust security and compliance posture so that cross-functional development teams can operate smoothly and efficiently.
The annual base salary range for this role is $159,000-$188,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
CI/CD Orchestration: Demonstrated experience configuring, optimizing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) systems (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins).
Infrastructure Automation & IaC: Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
Linux Environment & Scripting: Strong command of the Linux CLI and operating system fundamentals, paired with scripting expertise in Bash or Python for process automation.
Build & Deployment Operations: Proven ability to automate environment provisioning, application deployment, and continuous configuration updates.
Security & Compliance Automation: Familiarity with integrating security controls, vulnerability scanning, or compliance automation into software delivery pipelines.
Source Control Management: Advanced proficiency with Git version control, including branching strategies, pull requests, and release workflows.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, Finance/Economics, or a related discipline, PLUS 7+ years of specialized data analytics or financial intelligence experience OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 11+ years of hands-on intelligence analysis, financial tracking, and data discovery experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills
Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with container engines (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
Security Frameworks: Understanding of continuous monitoring, automated security evaluation, and system authorization workflows under federal cybersecurity standards.
Agile Tooling: Practical experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence) for workflow management and documentation.
