The annual base salary range for this role is $104,000-$123,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- Software Development Expertise: Proven proficiency in modern object-oriented or functional programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Python, or Go).
- System Architecture & Trade-offs: Practical experience evaluating software reuse, system trade-offs, and integrating COTS/GOTS products into technical architectures.
- Large-Scale Data Handling: Experience writing performant code designed to process, manipulate, or query complex or large-scale datasets.
- Software Testing & Debugging: Strong background reviewing, testing, and debugging complex software components, with a proven ability to resolve software problem reports.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with modern Agile software development practices, continuous integration, and version control systems (Git).
- Real-time & Distributed Systems: Experience engineering low-latency, real-time processing systems or distributed cloud computing frameworks.
- Algorithm Optimization: Background refining novel algorithms or tuning system memory and CPU utilization for heavy analytical workloads.
- Containerization & Deployment: Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
