Software Engineer Senior I

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
• 6+ years of experience in software and embedded software development.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
• Familiarity with basic test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to create a roadmap for new audio products.
• Support embedded software development for both new and existing products.
• Define requirements, design software, write and test code, and document processes.
• Engage with Program Management and project team members, including customer representatives.
• Attend bi-weekly software meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
• Travel occasionally to government and non-government test facilities as needed.
• Perform additional duties as required.
