Concept Solutions, LLC (CS) is seeking a
Software Engineer - React to support a mission-critical application modernization program for a Department of War (DoW) customer.
This initiative focuses on creating a unified experience across multiple production applications through single sign-on, a shared user interface, and a standardized approach to integrating existing applications into a common platform.
The selected candidate will support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of React applications while helping ensure seamless integration with the broader platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects in two React applications, including a small public-facing single-page application supported by a Redis-backed service.
- Support embedded-adapter integration that enables legacy functionality to operate within the modern platform interface.
- Maintain application stability and functionality while supporting the broader modernization effort.
- Participate in two-week Agile sprints, including customer demonstrations at the conclusion of each sprint.
- Follow established release processes to support reliable application updates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of front-end software engineering experience using React.
- Experience working within formal software release processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Java back-end applications.
- Familiarity with accessibility testing.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Work Location and Schedule
- Location: Hybrid - Concept Solutions' Reston, VA headquarters and approved remote locations within the United States, with on-site work at government facilities in Northern Virginia and Maryland as required. Government-furnished equipment will be used for all access to government environments.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern. Two-week sprints with customer demonstrations each sprint.
- Travel: 0-10%, within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- Security Requirement: U.S. citizenship required. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoW security clearance. An active Secret clearance or higher is strongly preferred and may allow an earlier start.
- Compensation: $100,000-$120,000 annually, depending on experience.
Contract Status: This position is contingent upon contract award, with an anticipated start in October 2026.
