MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented
Software Engineer to join our team in the
Annapolis Junction, Maryland area. In this role, you will help design, develop, and integrate critical software solutions to support high-priority mission requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features and correct defects.
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with system engineers.
- Develop or implement algorithms and database queries to meet or exceed functional standards.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
- Write or review comprehensive software and system documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline (4 years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted).
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Five (5) years of combined experience using any major object-oriented or modern language (e.g., Java, Python, Golang, JavaScript, C/C++).
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
Clearance Requirements:- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Physical Requirements:- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $141,500.00-$236,000.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
