Software Engineer II (AI Focus)
An active TS//SCI clearance with polygraph is required for this role
About this Role
You'll develop and refine software that integrates AI capabilities into mission-critical workflows, working closely with analysts and operators to enhance their capabilities. Your focus will be on building agentic integrations that seamlessly connect diverse data sources and external APIs with modern AI frameworks, creating stable and reliable tools that integrate smoothly into our customer's existing systems.
In this role, you will:
Develop agentic integrations with Python that leverage multiple AI models, APIs, and data sources in production environments
Build tools and agentic workflows using modern frameworks like PydanticAI, Langgraph, and DeepAgents
Work directly with mission stakeholders to understand their requirements and design solutions that address their needs
Navigate customer data types to identify and extract relevant information for integration
Collaborate with other software engineers to test workflows, identify issues, and recommend pathways for fixes
Work under the guidance of senior engineers to ensure all AI tools meet standards for stability, reliability, and seamless integration
Requirements

Demonstrated experience leveraging HTTP-based APIs to access data through queries
Understanding of AI development concepts, including prompt engineering, context management, structured outputs, and tool/function calling
Experience with software source control (Git) and the Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
Experience presenting data analysis results to customers
Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD automation
Preferred Skills
Experience with agentic workflows and multi-agent orchestration
Basic knowledge of end-to-end SIGINT collection and analysis systems

Salary Range
$230,000 - $271,000
This range includes our flex income and depends upon your annual work hours.
Salary is determined on an individual basis following the interview process and considering various factors such as years of experience, skills, education, and certifications.
