Job Description:SOFTWARE REVERSE ENGINEER
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
A Software Reverse Engineer designs, authors, enhances, verifies, and releases high-quality operational software which satisfies mission and foundational requirements.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, and four(4) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
Demonstrated capability in two or more of the following areas:
- C/C++
- User interface development, especially Flutter and/or QT, etc),
- 802.11 protocol familiarity
- Matlab
- SDR Packet Processing
- Kernel specific modem/radio driver development
Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Specific duties include:
- Process specific 802.11 signals captured from various methods, environments, and antennas
- Develop intuitive user interfaces to command and control 802.11 collection and emission systems
- Reverse Engineer newly release operating system kernels and update custom drivers for integration of Wi-fi radios/modems
- Implement development in a tailored agile methodology, utilizing GitLab for build/merges
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Clearly communicating in a team environment with fellow engineers, stakeholders, and customers
- Estimate, decompose, and implement iterative tasks, automated tests, and routine builds, in a team environment
