Corvid's Missile Defense Products group is actively seeking experienced Software Engineers to drive the development of highly critical Fire Control software for advanced weapons systems. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and testing sophisticated algorithms and capabilities. Your work will be seamlessly integrated into existing architectures designed to evaluate and manage situational awareness for Missile Defense Systems.
What you'll do: - Innovate & Code: Drive extensive, hands-on software development efforts utilizing C++, Java, and Ada.
- Solve Complex Problems: Develop, present, and execute complex technical work requirements related to software engineering.
- Secure the Mission: Champion DevSecOps practices to guarantee that robust, highly secure, and stable software is successfully deployed into the defense system.
Requirements:- Candidate must be a US Citizen and be eligible to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in related STEM discipline and at least 5 years of relevant development experience (Advanced Degrees may substitute for experience)
- Demonstrated experience developing one or more of the following: C++, Ada, and Java
Preferred qualifications: - An Advanced degree in Physics or Mathematics, or a strong foundation in either discipline
- Proven experience working with Linux environments, scripting, and/or system operations
- Experience using MATLAB and Python for rigorous development and analytical tasks
- DevSecOps tools and methods (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/Gitlab) of continuous integration/continuous delivery and deployment (CI/CD) automation
