Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer 2 for a contract/hybrid opportunity.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of experience. Master's Degree and 0 years of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
- Experience with enterprise level initiatives or platform responsibilities.
- Value stream mapping, Lean prioritization, or portfolio planning experience.
- Ability to define and enforce product workflows, standards, or governance practices.
- Advanced SAFe or product management certification.
- Experience shaping long range product planning, solutions, and financial prioritization.
- The Software Engineer provides strategic technical leadership for the Digital Plant program, driving migration of legacy machine network assets into a unified Operational Technology (OT) environment and enabling secure OEM remote access.
- The candidate should have extensive experience and knowledge of industrial systems engineering.
- They will collaborate and ensure solutions align to the enterprise strategy at NNS.
- PPE: Hardhat, Safety Glasses, Ear Protection which will be provided. Steel toes shoes are required to be purchased.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software. Set operational specifications, and formulate and analyze software requirements. May design embedded systems software.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONBachelor's degree is required.
School must be accredited.
WORK HOURS5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30AM-4:00 PM. Hybrid position.
HYBADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
