Position Summary:
We are seeking a Software Developer Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical leadership in the design, development, testing, and implementation of software solutions supporting complex technical and mission requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications and systems.
- Analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Perform software testing, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to development teams.
- Conduct code reviews and establish software development best practices.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
- Support software integration, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages.
- Extensive experience with software development methodologies, testing, and debugging.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and system integration.
- Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
