Software Developer

Join Sonova's Manufacturing Software team and help develop the sophisticated solutions that power our production while enabling data-driven decisions for complex manufacturing challenges.

As a Software Developer, you will apply your expertise to deliver reliable and scalable data-oriented solutions in a collaborative global environment.

Responsibilities
• Develop, maintain, and support solutions for data analysis and production
• Ensure the availability and performance of critical solutions
• Design of state-of-the-art solutions using the latest technologies
• Deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet Sonova's code-quality requirements and follow established software architecture
• Perform exploratory data analysis and reporting
• Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures in accordance with internal SOPs and applicable external requirements
• Advance continuous improvement by fostering knowledge sharing, engineering excellence, and team growth

More about you
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least three years of professional software development experience
• Experience with data engineering technologies, including ETL pipelines, Python, SQL, and relational databases
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures; experience with C# is a plus
• Good understanding of software architecture and design principles, including SOLID
• Experience with modern software development tools and practices, including Git, Docker, CI/CD, GenAI, Jira, and Confluence
