Full Job Description
Quattro Consulting, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a SOF Strategic Analyst IV to provide subject matter expertise and support through performance of tasks to support the live, virtual, and constructive military exercise series led by the U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

Duties and responsibilities include:
  • Provide SME support to JS and USSOCOM working groups, planning teams, cells and taskings; document key points/discussions relevant to JTF 53-7 and joint training and maintain on the portal.
  • Research training websites, doctrine, publications, manuals, directives, instructions from the JS J7, CCMD/USSOCOM HQs, JSOU, SOF Component, JSOC, TSOC portals for relevant information.
  • Provide recommendations for development and/or modification of the annual CJCS Joint Training Guidance and the USSOCOM Commander's Training Guidance (CTG).
  • Develop concise, accurate, and effective information briefings and papers.
  • Produce input to annual history report, and JS annual joint assessment report.
  • Provide executive-level research, analysis, and recommendations on assigned training-related topics and issues and provide written responses as required through information papers, TMTs, E14s, JSAPs.
  • Aggregate DOTmLPF-P observations from organizations and coordinate synchronization into the lesson learned.
  • Support portal site maintenance ensuring information is current and meta-tagged.
  • Review training internal and external AARs, observations, assessments and determine trends; make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Assist in the development of topics for JTF 53-7conferences; take notes of key conference discussions, consolidate into a post-conference AAR.
  • Organize and manage Secret Video Teleconference (SVTC); gather topics, schedule, communicate with innovation and exercise communities, take meeting notes, create post-SVTC AAR, maintain SVTC documents.

Work Environment:
  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in confined areas.
  • Ability to work in remote and rural environments.

Physical Demands:
  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:
  • 21-49% / Regular Travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in joint and SOF doctrine, operations, and planning at the operational-strategic level.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in analyzing national, joint, and SOF strategies, policies, plans, and directives.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in oral skills and producing staffing products for an operational level HQs.
  • Must possess excellent presentation, communication and organization skills with proven skills in formal classroom delivery.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Valid driver's license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Graduate of Service ILE and JPME II (or enlisted equivalent).
  • Prior Service College or Advanced Military Studies graduate.
