Description:As a Social Worker II, you will be a member of an inter-disciplinary team and provides a range of social work services to patients and their families. Your services may include: psychosocial assessment, resource-based interventions, individual, group and family treatment, risk screening, counselling, case management and coordination, transition or discharge planning, and prevention, promotion and public awareness activities.

Required Qualifications: Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP/CPR) certification required. Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric experience. Experience in grief and loss counselling. Strong crisis intervention and crisis management skills. Adjustment disorder counselling experience. Indigenous cultural awareness training. Strong advocacy, collaboration, communication, and community resource navigation skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches. NICU experience and/or experience working with infants and families facing complex medical needs, critical illness, or prolonged hospitalization. Proficiency with Connect Care. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
