About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable, creative, and strategically minded Social Media Manager to lead the day-to-day management and development of social media across our Performance Brands portfolio, including Denon and Polk Audio.

You will own the planning, execution, publishing, optimization, and reporting of social activity across key global social channels, helping to drive brand relevance, audience engagement, cultural presence, and commercial impact.

You will work closely with the Brand Marketing team to translate brand strategies, product launches, campaigns, partnerships, and commercial priorities into effective social-first plans and content strategies.

You will combine strong platform expertise and social-first creative instincts with excellent operational and stakeholder management skills. They will also play an important role in helping shape influencer amplification strategies, setting social KPIs, and continuously evaluating and optimizing performance.

The role will report into the Director, Brand Marketing - Performance Brands and works closely with Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Communications, Creative, Regional Marketing, Media, DTC, and agency partners.

What You Will Do
  • Own and manage the day-to-day execution of global social media channels across the Performance Brands portfolio, including publishing, content calendars, channel management, and platform optimization.
  • Develop and execute integrated social media strategies that support product launches, campaigns, partnerships, seasonal initiatives, and broader brand objectives.
  • Partner with internal creative teams, Brand Marketing, Communications, and external agencies to create engaging, social-first content and support influencer and creator programs.
  • Build and engage online communities while ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone of voice, and platform best practices.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize engagement, audience growth, and business impact.
  • Monitor emerging social trends, platform updates, competitor activity, and audience behaviors to identify new opportunities and continuously improve strategy.
  • Support the development of social media governance, workflows, and best practices across the organization.

What You Need to Be Successful
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing social media for consumer, lifestyle, technology, entertainment, gaming, audio, automotive, or other culturally relevant brands.
  • Strong knowledge of major social media platforms (YouTube, Meta (FB, Instagram), TikTok, X), social-first storytelling, content strategy, editorial planning, and platform best practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing social listening and management tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Meltwater, Radarly, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting, and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across creative teams, agencies, influencers, and external partners.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using social analytics and reporting tools to measure performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and driving continuous improvement.
  • Passion for music, culture, entertainment, technology, and premium consumer brands.

  • Experience working within premium, lifestyle, luxury, consumer electronics, entertainment, gaming, or culturally driven brands.
  • Experience supporting influencer, ambassador, or creator-led campaigns.
  • Experience collaborating with paid media teams to support integrated social campaigns.
  • Understanding of audio, home entertainment, gaming, music, or technology enthusiast audiences.
  • Experience managing global or multi-region social media activity.
  • Strong awareness of emerging social trends, creator culture, and evolving platform behaviors.

Pay Transparency

$ 84,750 - $ 124,300

Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
