Your role and responsibilities
As a Delivery Consultant specializing in Technology Expert Labs for IBM's zTPS, you will provide clients with world-class services to optimize the configuration, deployment, adoption, usage, and analysis of their zModernization and zTransaction Processing System (zTPS) software products. This role involves delivering expert consulting services to help clients achieve maximum value from their zTPS investments.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Lead Client Engagements: Manage and deliver consulting services to clients, providing expert guidance on optimizing zTPS software products, including IT Operations Management, Application/Data Management, Application Development, and Security products.
• Optimize zTPS Configurations: Analyze and optimize zTPS configurations to ensure clients achieve maximum value from their software investments, leveraging expertise in zModernization and zTransaction Processing System software products.
• Develop Adoption Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to drive adoption and usage of zTPS software products, ensuring clients achieve their business objectives.
• Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored consulting services to address their specific challenges and opportunities.
• Deliver Expert Analysis: Provide expert analysis and recommendations to clients on zTPS software products, helping them make informed decisions about their technology investments.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
5+ years working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
* z/OS Automation Migration Projects
* OPS/MVS and/or BMC Auto Operator (but OPS/MVS is preferred)
* System Automation/ Netview implementation or migration experience
* Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
* Strong REXX coding skills
* Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
* The ability to use TSO and ISPF
* JCL skills
Preferred technical and professional experience
• zTPS Product Knowledge: Experience with IT Operations Management, Application/Data Management, Application Development, and Security products within zTPS software suite.
• Technical Consulting Skills: Experience in delivering expert consulting services to clients, providing guidance on optimizing zTPS software products and configurations.
• Analytical Problem-Solving: Experience in analyzing complex technical problems and developing creative solutions to drive business value for clients.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
