Overview

 

The Subject Matter Expert (SME), Senior Systems Engineer serves as the Government’s primary technical POC, providing overall leadership, technical guidance, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

 

Advisory Leadership: Act as the main technical advisor and liaison for government leadership.

 

Technical Guidance: Direct engineering teams and define system architecture standards to meet mission goals.

 

Quality Control: Review and approve all technical deliverables to ensure high standards and accuracy.

 

System Integration: Oversee complex architecture designs, testing phases, and deployment strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

 

• Advanced degree in a technical or engineering field with 20 years of Systems Engineering experience related to avionics architectures
• Experience leading a team to implement architectural approaches for development of large complex avionics systems
• Experience leading a team to develop, use, and improve avionics architecture standards
• Senior level experience and be well versed in Information Technology practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project in addition to other planning tools
• Secret Security Clearance

 

Salary range: $180,000-$210,000

This position is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline. Integral Federal considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and/or discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
