MTSI is seeking an
Senior Program Management SkillBridge Fellow in Huntsville, AL.. This person will provide program management support for new and ongoing projects being executed by our customer. The successful candidate must have a mastery of the program management process, including acquisition streamlining, integrated weapon systems management, manning, best practices and lessons learned to independently execute acquisition program management tasks.
ResponsibilitiesYour essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
- Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate program management assignments and activities.
- Program/project integration.
- Develop and maintain the program's integrated master schedule.
- Apply program management and systems engineering expertise to projects and program challenges, and advise project leads and project engineers on all matters of acquisition management.
- Advise program leadership on strategic planning regarding capability development and demonstration on the program.
- Provide oversight of program information assurance tasks associated with classified networks and report status directly to the Program Manager.
- Support the Program Director from time to time at executive levels within the government and other contractor organizations, including major program reviews, inspections, conferences, and other program evaluations and major milestone events.
- Manage interactions and cultivate relationships between the program office, supporting government offices, other contractors, and higher headquarters mid to upper-level staff.
Required Qualifications- Active duty service member eligible for the DoW SkillBridge Program
- Participation approved (or in process) through command channels
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience leading or supporting projects, programs, or operational efforts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
