The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, andaultimately theaend-user whoaoperateaaround the globe 24x7x365.a

Roles and Responsibilities:aa
- Plans, leads, and independently executes the modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management, and modernization of complex systems solutions.a
- Ability to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of critical enterprise IT infrastructure, including server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environmentsa
- Ability toaleadaa small teamaof junior systems administratoratoaaccomplishatroubleshooting, innovation, projectaimplementationaand service optimization for a geographically dispersed customera
- Tests and analyzes elements of data center facilities, including power, software, security features, interoperability, and communications, andaais responsible forathe overall integration of enterprise systems.aa
- Monitors and controls the performance and status of systems resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as byaidentifyingaand diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting system performance.aa
- Uses the Peraton Digital Engineering Framework (DEF) toafacilitatealeading and engineering enterprise systems solutions spanning multiple data center and cloud vendor products.aa
- Collaborates with SOCOM, vendors, carriers, and technical staff on systems implementation, optimization, and ongoing management.aa
- Provides high-level support and technicalaexpertiseain Directory Services technology, including DNS, GPO, ADFS, DFS, Domains and Trust, Sites and Services and Role Based Access Control.a
- Provides high-level support and technicalaexpertiseain systems technology, including servers, applications, virtual and physical environments, and solutions integrations.aa
- Partnersawith delivery teams to proactively ensure system integration, verification, and validation ofanew technologyainto the existing operational environment.aa
- Analyzes systems performance data from tools such as OS and application logs, Splunk, Riverbedaandaa
- Develops and reviews system documentation and schematic diagrams (using tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio).aa
- Defines and documents baselines to measure service performance and capability across a global enterprise.a
- Performsatier three systems supportain accordance withathe SIE OPORD;amust be detail-oriented and have in-depth knowledge of data center hardware and softwareand troubleshootingaproceduresa.aa
- Advisesasenior government staff on industry best practices andprovidesapolicy recommendations to implement those practices.a
- Some positions may require shift work and/or an ability to work a non-standard work schedule to support the USSOCOM mission.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:aa
- Mina12 years with HS Diploma; 10 years with AS/AA; 8 years with BS/BA; or 6 years with MS/MA.
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.a
- DoD 8570 IAT II Certification.a
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Must be DoW 8140 compliant under the Work Role Code 451 6 System Administrator - Basic level or higher by 1 Oct 26.
- Experience with VMWare and Nutanix software desireda
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including AzureaandaAWSa
Target Salary Range$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individuals experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
