The engineer will leverage advanced scripting, API integrations, and CI/CD principles to orchestrate complex server environments, enabling seamless, scalable, and secure operations across the Department of War (DoW) enterprise.
Design, develop, test, and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) pipelines to automate the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of enterprise servers and services. Engineer and administer enterprise automation platforms (e.g., Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, AWX), including architecture planning, execution environment management, and system health monitoring. Write, maintain, and optimize complex Ansible playbooks, roles, and custom automation scripts (primarily in YAML, Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for system configuration, patching, and operational tasks. Automate the enforcement and continuous monitoring of DoD STIGs and security baselines across Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows environments using Configuration as Code.
