This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic influence and mentoring others while delivering innovative solutions for a global leader in financial technology.
About Your Team:This role is a member of the Enterprise Architecture organization and responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of systems and applications.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR: - Write and review code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and conduct proof-of-concept work on new technologies.
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable build and release processes.
- Serve as an escalation contact for service incidents as part of an on-call rotation.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Which skills are required:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or other STEM-related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux/Unix systems and networking fundamentals.
- 5+ years of coding experience.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Excellent skills in problem-solving and communication, both verbal and written.
To be successful in this position, you will have the following:- Experience in a highly regulated industry such as health care or finance.
- Experience with agile methodologies.
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in application software development
