Full Job Description
About the Role

The Site Engineer for our installation program will own how our first microturbine installation fits together at a site level: where the turbines are located, whether we need concrete pads poured, where the transformers go, and how the turbines line up with the electrical and pipeline connections they need.

You'll be based in San Francisco, but plan on stretches of weeks on-site during installation, not just the occasional trip. You will work the full chain from site plan to working installation, translating between what the turbines need, what the site has, and what has to get built to connect the two.

This is not a role where the plan gets handed to you finished. You will be defining that plan yourself and then making sure it holds up once equipment starts showing up on-site.

What We're Looking For

Experience with systems integration on complex industrial or power generation equipment, whatever the domain. Site planning, balance-of-plant, or similar work where you had to coordinate mechanical, electrical, and civil scope at once and make it all fit together in the real world, not just on paper.

You default to walking the site rather than only working from drawings. You're comfortable being the person who has to catch the conflict between two other people's plans before it becomes a problem in the field.

Compensation

$150,000 to $200,000 base.

Generous stock package.

Medical, vision, and dental care.

2% matching on 401(k).
