SIGDEV Analyst 1 - (Linux, Front-End Collection Systems, DNR/DNI)

Description:

Come join a dynamic, fast-paced watch center supporting 24x7 operations. In this mission-essential help desk role, you will maintain the customer's computers and networks, ensuring front-end systems continue to collect, process, and transmit information vital to national decision makers and keeping our troops safe. You will provide support to optimize and maintain assigned customer accesses. The technology focus will be data and voice communications, including DNR (voice/FAX), DNI, and other advanced technologies over IP. Candidates must understand the significance of their role within a 24x7 mission-essential TTO and be able to support a shift schedule such as mid shift, swing shift, or Panama shift to ensure mission coverage.

Position Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience using the Linux operating system, to include use of the command-line.
  • Experience with front-end collection systems, to include survey systems.
  • Knowledge of DNR/DNI collection and dataflow, including FOP configuration.
  • Basic technical troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to follow basic SOPs and update documentation accordingly.
  • Ability and commitment to support 24x7 shift schedules (mid shift, swing shift, or Panama shift).

Position Desired Skills:
  • Experience supporting mission-essential help desk or watch center operational environments.
  • Familiarity with IP network architecture and modern digital telecommunication protocols.

SDA1 Qualifications:

At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in SIGINT development (SIGDEV) analytic support.

Within the last five (5) years, at least three (3) of the years of experience must have been with modern digital/optical telecommunications systems and protocols, telephony switching system networks, and/or internet communications.

Salary Range: $110k-$135k (Annually)

The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
