Position Description: MI Technical Solutions is seeking a SharePoint Developer to join its team. In this role, the SharePoint Developer is responsible for the design, development, customization, and sustainment of SharePoint-based collaboration tools, Power Platform solutions, and enterprise information architecture.
Responsibilities:- Serve as an Administrator/Owner for SharePoint Online and SharePoint environments
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint solutions to improve user experience, data management, and operational efficiency
- Develop dashboards, performance metrics, and interactive reporting tools using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
- Customize SharePoint functionality using JavaScript, XML, HTML, and other scripting tools
- Integrate SharePoint solutions with Microsoft 365 services (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Flankspeed, etc.)
- Implement and enforce security best practices, governance controls, permissions management, and cross-site collection functions
- Support Information Management (IM) and Knowledge Management (KM) initiatives to improve communication and mission readiness
- Provide technical writing, documentation, end-user support, and training for all SharePoint-based solutions
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements and translate mission needs into scalable IT solutions
Requirements:- Must already possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or related field
- 2+ years of progressive development experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE)
- Working knowledge of web development technologies including JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, XML, jQuery, and REST services
- Experience working in agile development methodologies and performing testing/debugging
- Strong technical writing ability and documentation expertise
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical users
