Full Job Description
Position Summary
  • The Infection Preventionist is responsible for the Infection Prevention and Control Program, developed to control the spread of infections and/or outbreaks.
  • Track and monitor transmissible diseases and notify local, state and federal authorities about reportable diseases as required.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is required.
  • Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required
  • 3 or more years in healthcare field is required
  • Certification in Infection Control preferred, required within 3 years & maintained thereafter.
Pay Range
  • Infection Preventionist I salary range > $72259.20 - $105328.08
  • Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
