Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform invasive and non-invasive ultrasound procedures and doppler vascular examinations.
  • Conduct deep abdominal studies and color-flow ultrasound as needed.
  • Assist in ultrasound-guided endovenous ablations for patients with reduced blood flow.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures.

Full Job Description
Position Summary
Perform invasive/non invasive ultrasound procedures, doppler vascular examinations, deep abdominal studies and color-flow ultrasound as required. Assist with performing Ultrasound guided endovenous ablations on lower extremeties of patients with reduced blood flow.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School plus 1 - 2 years of formal training/education is required - or higher.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as Registered Vascular Sonographer required.
  • Registered Vascular Sonographer could also earn ARRT through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support/CPR (BLS) certification required.
  • 1 - 3 years ambulatory or hospital setting is required.
Pay Range
$33.08 - $48.22
