The impact you'll makeAs a
SET Factory Support Engineer, you serve as the primary point of contact for
Supplier Quality disruptions that impact factory operations.
You lead cross-functional response efforts to quickly assess issues, conduct
risk evaluations on manufacturing build completion and customer shipment commitments, and drive alignment on
containment actions across the plant or company-wide.
In this role, you initiate and manage
material recovery plans to secure corrective or replacement parts from suppliers, ensuring minimal disruption to production flow and delivery timelines.
Through strong technical judgment, clear communication, and a solutions-focused mindset, you help maintain manufacturing stability, safeguard product quality, and support on-time customer fulfillment.
What you'll do- Acts as the primary point of contact for Supplier Quality issues that disrupt or risk disrupting manufacturing operations.
- Leads cross-functional response efforts to ensure rapid issue escalation, tracking, and resolution.
- Performs risk assessments to determine impacts on tool build completion, production schedules, and customer shipment commitments.
- Drives alignment on containment actions, implementing solutions plan wide and company-wide to prevent recurrence and stabilize production.
- Initiates and manages material recovery plans, securing corrective or replacement parts from suppliers to minimize downtime.
- Collaborates closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality , and supply chain teams to mitigate operational and supply chain risks.
- Communicates status, risks, and action plans clearly to stakeholders to maintain transparency and customer-focused decision-making.
- Contributes to protecting product quality, delivery reliability, and overall factory output through proactive problem-solving and fast, data-driven actions.
Who we're looking for- Engineering Degree or equivalent (Mechanical/Electrical/Science).
- Min 5 years of industrial experience in Quality Assurance , preferably in Semiconductor Industry
- Excellent communication (verbal & written in English), presentation, and organizational skills.
- Exhibit attention to detail, sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams across multiple departments to achieve goals.
- Possess good understanding of equipment and manufacturing processes.
Preferred qualifications- Experience in supplier quality management, incoming quality control, and supplier development.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis tools: 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, molding, stamping, PCB assembly, electronics, welding, casting, plating, coatings, or other relevant processes.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001.
- Good capability in reading engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and material specifications.

'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
