Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer / ServiceNow Developer to support the development and modernization of enterprise human capital management technologies and services. The program supports workforce initiatives across areas such as learning and training, compliance, foreign language development, talent retention, job advertisements, candidate selection, and performance management.
What will you do?
Support the implementation of customer objectives and priorities within the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, backlog management, testing, and software implementation.
Design, develop, maintain, and document application code following industry best practices.
Develop and maintain integrations between applications, databases, web services, and APIs.
Develop and maintain database and cloud-service components supporting enterprise applications.
Support the implementation and documentation of the organization's ServiceNow reference architecture.
Analyze existing web applications, systems, services, interfaces, and databases to support modernization and future development decisions.
Recommend technical solutions that improve UX/UI, application quality, delivery speed, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
Conduct unit, functional, and user acceptance testing.
Develop and maintain reporting capabilities using web-based databases and enterprise applications.
Apply established accessibility standards and industry best practices throughout application development.
Support application security, certification, accreditation, and other development requirements.
Manage source code and application changes using version control tools such as GitHub or Subversion.
Track requirements, development activities, issues, and sprint progress using JIRA.
Support Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 application support activities using service management platforms.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including SOPs, digital IT workflows, knowledge-base articles, deployment checklists, architectural diagrams, system security plans, and administrative processes.
Maintain application and system documentation in accordance with established document storage and version-control requirements.
