OverviewEdgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Service Now Developer to support a major national laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
- Implement and support multiple ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Change Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow applications and workflows.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and support procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices in application development.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other IT staff as needed.
- Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- BS in relevant discipline plus minimum 7 years or more years of directly related experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Candidate can work remotely but must be willing to travel onsite as needed
Required Skills:
- Experience with Service Platform Configuration
- Proven experience implementing and supporting multiple ServiceNow modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes).
- Experience with ServiceNow integration techniques such as REST, SOAP, and MID Server.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and how they relate to ServiceNow modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer) are a plus.
