Job Summary
The ServiceNow CMDB/CSDM role will focus on ServiceNow architecture, technical implementation, integrations, CMDB, discovery, and data lineage. The role will support positioning ServiceNow as a single source of truth by establishing clean data, relationships, application-to-infrastructure mappings, and component-level lineage. The preferred candidate will be a strong ServiceNow developer or architect with the ability to deliver architecture and integration work and support broader program enablement.
Key Responsibilities
• Support ServiceNow architecture and technical implementation initiatives.
• Build and maintain integrations and connectors within the ServiceNow platform.
• Establish application-to-IT component relationships and map data lineage within ServiceNow.
• Support CMDB and discovery capabilities to improve data quality and visibility.
• Connect ServiceNow modules and platform components through appropriate integration patterns.
• Map applications and infrastructure components, including relationships between applications and cloud infrastructure components.
• Support data cleansing and improvement activities to establish actionable inventory information.
• Develop reusable ServiceNow assets that demonstrate measurable value and support broader program adoption.
• Provide technical architecture and implementation expertise across ServiceNow capabilities.
• Enable broader program initiatives through ServiceNow architecture, integration, and implementation work.
Required Qualifications
• Deep technical expertise in ServiceNow architecture and implementation.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow integration patterns.
• Strong experience with CMDB and Discovery.
• Experience building data lineage within ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules and how they integrate with each other.
• Experience working with ServiceNow connectors, including out-of-the-box connectors.
• Experience mapping applications and IT infrastructure components within ServiceNow.
• Experience establishing application-to-component relationships and lineage.
• Strong technical implementation skills focused on connecting ServiceNow platform components and data.
• Strong ServiceNow development or architecture background.
Preferred Qualifications
• Understanding of LeanIX concepts.
• Ability to learn and apply LeanIX concepts after establishing a strong ServiceNow foundation.
