About the Role

McKesson is seeking a ServiceNow AI Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI-enabled solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role will define architecture standards, guide AI strategy, and partner with business and technology leaders to deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent solutions that improve employee experiences, automate workflows, and drive measurable business outcomes.

As a senior technical leader, you will shape the future of ServiceNow AI capabilities across enterprise functions while ensuring alignment with architecture, security, compliance, and business objectives.
What You'll Do
  • Lead architecture strategy, standards, and roadmaps for ServiceNow AI and intelligent automation solutions.
  • Design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Now Assist, AI Agents, Workflow Data Fabric, and emerging AI capabilities.
  • Develop conceptual, logical, and solution architectures supporting business transformation initiatives.
  • Partner with stakeholders, product teams, engineers, and enterprise architects to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Establish AI governance, security, compliance, and operational guardrails aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Guide implementation teams through architecture reviews, design decisions, integrations, and platform best practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve automation, productivity, and user experiences.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams while promoting modern architecture, cloud, DevOps, and AI adoption practices.
Basic Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, software engineering, enterprise applications, or technology consulting.
  • 5+ years of ServiceNow architecture experience leading enterprise-scale implementations.
  • Experience designing and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple business domains.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Agents, Predictive Intelligence, Virtual Agent, or Workflow Data Fabric.
  • Strong knowledge of solution architecture, integration design, APIs, cloud technologies, and security principles.
  • Experience communicating architecture strategy and technical decisions to both technical and business audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Experience delivering Generative AI, Agentic AI, intelligent automation, or LLM-powered solutions.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, model oversight, responsible AI practices, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with ITSM, HRSD, CSM, Employee Center, App Engine, or other ServiceNow product suites.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, enterprise architecture frameworks, and architecture governance practices.
  • Experience supporting cloud modernization, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and observability initiatives.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS, CAD, CTA, or AI-focused certifications.
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Track record of leading innovation initiatives, proof-of-concepts, and enterprise transformation programs.

  • Limited travel may be required based on business needs.
  • Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to participate in meetings, workshops, and presentations both virtually and in person.
