About The RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, the Service Electrician role involves a mix of scheduled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. This position is well-suited for a Red Seal Electrician. You will be responsible for identifying electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and supporting timely resolution of client concerns.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Travel to a variety of customer sites across multiple industries to perform planned electrical maintenance and respond to service calls;
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, or coordinate electrical repairs as needed;
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required;
- Maintain a high standard of customer communication by setting clear expectations and providing updates throughout each job;
- Support and execute electrical equipment installations, including start-up, commissioning, pre-start inspections, and handover to the client;
- Collaborate with and coordinate third-party vendors and contractors as required for electrical work;
- Perform preventative electrical maintenance and troubleshooting in a safe and efficient manner to minimize downtime;
- Work with panels, motors, drives, PLCs, VFDs, transformers, and associated electrical components.

Our Must Haves- Successfully obtained your Red Seal Electrician certification;
- Hold a valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract;
- Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing clients;
- Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities;
- Experience working in forestry, mining, or natural resources industries will be considered an asset.
