Senior Program Manager 3 This position will be located in
Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
This position is contingent upon program award anticipated in 2026.The Flight Systems Futures operating unit within Strategic Deterrent Systems is seeking highly motivated talent to join a team at the forefront of next-generation hypersonic capabilities. Our team focuses on the design, development, and demonstration of hypersonic re-entry vehicles and advanced payloads, with an emphasis on rapid development and prototyping aligned to specific customer missions. What You Will Get To DO:- Directing all phases of program from inception through completion
- Responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical performance of tooling programs
- Acting as customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
- Establishing milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications
- Directing the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas
- Collaborating across program and functional teams and ensure on-time execution
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks (e.g. technical, cost, schedule, legal, security) and maintaining risk register and ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed
- Strategically managing NCTA budgets (B&P and M&S) with financial rigor and predictability

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience, OR a Master's degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below
- Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance within scope with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
- At least 6 years of experience leading a Program / Projects and driving performance against a schedule.
- Experience in project management/ execution and closeout
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EV) in an applicable system
These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:- Background/experience in rapid development and prototyping
- Background/experience in ICBM programs
- Experience with test planning and coordination
- Already SAP briefed
- PMP Certificate
- Current Northrop Grumman CAM Certification
- Current Program Access Request (PAR)
- Functional and/or Assignment manager experience
- Supplier Management experience
- 6 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- Functional and/or Assignment manager experience

- Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple tasks

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
